Nolan Braterman, Chairman of App2Chat, said: “Since our launch the popularity of our innovative solution, interest amongst small businesses has continued to grow and it can now be found in the offices of some of the UK’s fastest growing enterprises.

“We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for this award and we hope that we will go on to win it later this year.”

App2Chat’s explosive growth continues with launch in Africa

The team behind the new innovative telecoms solution, App2Chat, have signed distribution rights to market their product in Africa.

App2Chat has already launched its services in Spain, Cyprus and Germany this year – however, the expansion into Africa will be the first time it has been distributed outside of Europe.

Since its launch at the end of 2015, the solution has found its way into the hands of more than 3,500 businesses around the world.

Its unique ability to place the power and functionality of a traditional office desk phone in to the palm of the hand has proven extremely popular amongst a wide-range of businesses.

Nolan Braterman, Chairman of App2Chat, which is part of the Pink Telephone Company, said: “When we officially launched App2Chat at the Business Show last December we had high hopes that it would go global, but to be signing distribution rights for a market as large as Africa so soon in our company’s history is really exciting.

“We have a deep understanding of what businesses require and we feel this is reflected in our solution and our approach, which has led to our success so early on.”

The way that businesses communicate is changing and App2Chat’s solution is proving a game changer for companies around the world.

Instead, by providing all the features of office PBX systems, flexible and intelligent products such as App2Chat are becoming a dominant force in the market.

With these established, the team behind App2Chat now has plans to expand into Germany with its launch at the IFA Consumer Electronics Unlimited show in Berlin – one of Europe’s largest trade shows – which takes place from 2 – 7 September.

Discussions are already underway regarding expansion into South Africa later this year, with plans to roll out the solution in other countries during the next 12 months.

App2Chat pitches to Virgin Voom

The revolutionary next step in office telecoms App2Chat has launched a pitch on Virgin Voom – the UK and Ireland’s biggest and most valuable pitch competition.

The Voom project gives businesses the chance to ultimately pitch their projects to the great entrepreneur himself, Richard Branson, in order to win a share of £1 million on offer in prizes.

To get through to the next round, companies must win an online public vote by delivering an exciting online profile and video pitch.

Essex-based App2Chat has worked hard to put together a pitch package that will not only impress the voting public but the judges and Mr Branson himself.

They are now calling on the public to get online by visiting www.vmbvoom.com/pitches/app2chat  and vote for their pitch.

App2Chat’s Chairman, Nolan Braterman said: “App2Chat is the next big step in telecoms technology and we hope the voting public and Richard Branson will recognise this and take us through to the finals.

Over 400 Small Businesses Trialling App2Chat Mobile Office System

In the space of a month since launch at the Business Show, Pink Telephone’s mobile office phone system is proving a compelling product for small businesses in the always-connected mobile era.

Launched at The Business Show in December last month, the Pink Telephone Company’s mobile office system for small and medium sized enterprises is fast gaining traction with small businesses in Britain.

Called App2Chat, over 400 SMEs are progressively introducing the mobile office system into their daily operations and Pink Telephone expects to have a 2,000 SME business user base by October 2016. The firm is also seeking resellers to upsell App2Chat to their SME customers and expects to sign up 20 by the end of January.

In Britain alone, App2Chat could help 5 million plus SMEs businesses to slash the cost of communications by up to 50% with better quality and end the era of high and recurring capital investments in telecoms hardware and software in the office. With the App2Chat installed on smartphones, SME office and field personnel have the equivalent of a fully blown mobile switchboard in the palm of their hands with all the features of a classic cord-based PBX for use at any time or location.

App2Chat features include voicemail, auto attendant, call transfer, call forwarding and call recording and the ability to have multiple phone numbers sitting on one device to make business or personal calls. A further stand-out feature is the availability of landline numbers for more than 65 countries worldwide. Existing numbers can also be transferred to App2Chat quickly and the system is scalable enabling new contacts to be added into the mobile office system with a few clicks.

No capital investment is needed whatsoever, allowing telecoms budgets to be allocated elsewhere in the business. The service does not impact on data usage or incur data charges. When travelling overseas, App2Chat works over that country’s GSM network or Wi-Fi zones.

“Since launch, App2Chat has captured the attention of business owners and office managers alike and is fast becoming the must-have mobile office system of choice,” says Nolan Braterman, Chairman, The Pink Telephone Company. “Quite simply, it’s a game changer for a smarter, busier, business world.”

The App2Chat “Cut the Cord” unified communications app has been developed for the Pink Telephone Company by London software house RIPTec.

App2Chat – The future of office telephone systems is here

For a long time the traditional desk phone has been a common feature of most office environments, but that could all soon change with the launch of the revolutionary business telephone solution, App2Chat.

Whereas the traditional office system keeps employees tied to their desk to make and receive calls, App2Chat allows staff to handle calls anywhere anytime, whilst retaining all the features of the office desk phone.

App2Chat connects business landline numbers to existing smartphones, thus replacing the costly office telecoms infrastructure with a more efficient cost-effective alternative.

Users of App2Chat will have access to the functionality of an office telephone system wherever they are, including access to voicemail, auto attendant, call transfer, call forwarding and call recording, as well as the availability of landline numbers for all UK dialling codes and more than 65 countries worldwide.

Nolan Braterman, Chairman of App2Chat, said: “In App2Chat we have developed a business solution that cuts the cord on desktop phones to truly revolutionise business communication.

“We feel this unique approach to the office telephone system offers something exciting and innovative and which meets the needs of a modern mobile company and its employees.”

Mark Trowbridge, Technical Director, will also be talking at The Business Show at Olympia London on 4 December 2015 from 2pm in Seminar Hall 4 about the demise of the desk phone, just a day after the system’s official public launch.

During his discussion – entitled The Desk Phone Is Dead – What’s Next For Business Communications? – he will be looking at the disadvantages of desk phone technology and exploring the future for the mobile office telecommunications solution.
